Adopted as an infant into a Polish-American family, Randy grew up performing in various family polka bands until his move to Nashville, Tennessee in 1977 where he soon became one of country music's notable songwriters. After almost three decades of writing songs for some of country music's finest, he dedicated time to honor his adopted heritage with the release of two of the finest polish heritage albums on the market today. The songs of both albums were uniquely written in concept to tell the story of his family roots featuring the life and times of growing up and performing at Gilead Lake. Randy plays every musical sound on every one of his albums for iKahnRecords. This lends an insight to his unorthodox ability and uniquely calibrated musical mind rarely present in other artist/composers today where most have their recorded music played by others in the studio. Randy has donated his time and performances for the spread of his heritage at his hometown summer festival days celebration in Bronson, Michigan. So we at iKahnRecords welcome you to crank it up on the stereo and enjoy two of the greatest vocal sounding Hi-tech recorded polka albums out there today by one of polka music's favorite sons.
